How about the Drama?

Good Afternoon and Blessings Everyone!

You know the one thing that really gets to me more than anything else in this world is people who love to surround themselves with drama and not understand why their lives are so messed up. I am sure we all know at least one person in our life who is like this. For me, as an empath, I draw these people to me! It's not that I go out looking for them I just seem to have them cross my path and latch on. I don't know exactly why they latch on since they never listen to a word I say or anyone else has to say. While they are latched on I feel nervous, stressed out, needing to run from my own surroundings so what do I do? I protect myself like I have told you before. When I know I am going to be in their company I protect myself so I do not get sick and with luck when I get home I will be able to sleep. I will not have to fight the feeling of having my skin crawl because their nervous energy is bouncing all around inside of me.

So how do you recognize a person who would be considered a Drama queen or king? These people, the ones that live for the drama in their life, are usually depressed when things are calm and relaxed around them. They have nothing of interest going on in their lives. Let's take the person who is in a bad relationship. They are well aware the person they are with is no good for them for whatever the reason but they remain in the relationship in order to feel alive. Maybe they found out their love is a cheater or they complain he or she is self centered but whatever the reason they are not good for them yet they hold on and create a world wind of chaos all around. They need the fighting and the people around them to feel sorry for them in order to prove their worth. They don't see if they let this person go their life would improve because they don't like being alone. They have a need to be with someone, anyone as long as its drawing attention to them. They complain about it to anyone who will listen and the spew that negativity out everywhere they go tossing at who ever is in the way to catch it. This is how they survive and drive the people around them insane.
Without the fighting, the phone calls, the crying, they are dead inside, they need it to feel alive to feel wanted. When the day is done they claim they are finished with the mess but in the light of the new day it starts all over again.

Maybe you know the person who can't seem to work anyplace because of the people in the office. No one knows their job the way they do, every one is jealous of them, they don't get paid correctly, they do more work than anyone else does this sound familiar? These people can destroy the moral in an office in less than a week working there. A perfectly functioning office can suddenly become one caught in a landslide as this person starts to talk to officer manager about this one or that one. About who is doing the job and who is not doing their job in her eyes. These people can cause a seemingly normal office staff to suddenly feel as if they can not trust the person who has been working next to them for years. Now do you get the picture?

As I said being empathetic I draw these people to me. Recently I have started a policy I never thought in a million years I would do. If I read one of these people, tell them what I see, what I feel, and spiritually counsel them and they come back in a month with more chaos going on around them because they never listened in the first place, I am now refusing to read them again. Mainly because I connect with them. I allow them in my energy and they drain me. If they are not going to listen then why are they here wasting their time and mine. I will offer to do a healing with the help of my spiritual team but I do not promise this is the cure all. I remind them they are the cure. It is up to them what happens around them. They draw it to them. and they need to push it away not lay claim to it. Once they do that there is no getting rid of it unless they release it. If someone like this wants a "normal" life not full of chaos they have to learn to release the junk they pick up. they have to learn to not stir the pot and pull up the garbage from the bottom making everything all murky. Until they learn this, no one, no reader, no healer can help them feel better and enjoy a better life.

For all you wonderful people out there that are just discovering your amazing gifts, if you see someone out there like this, feel them around you, remember to protect yourself. Just because we are blessed with these amazing gifts doesn't mean we need to put ourselves out there to feel all the junk people want to dump somewhere, anywhere. You do have a responsibility to help others but you can't help those who don't want to be helped.

                                                        My Guides

They draw from me day and night,
It is up to me to set things right,
So I call upon my spirit guide,
To come in close, stand by my side,
To protect me from the junk they toss,
So our energies do not cross,
My guides are there to help me through,
To show me what I need to do,
I listen to them when I read,
Talk to them when I need,
                                                 To understand the messages sent,
                                                 To help those in torment,
To heal those who are in need,
I enjoy doing a good deed,
And with my guides by my side,
My third eye is opened wide,
I close my eyes and I can see,
The messages they have for me,
With these gifts I have been blessed,
So I can always do my best,
Each day I open my eyes,
To knowledge that makes me wise,
                                                 A peacefulness comes over me,
The way God intended it to be!

To Be Continued........

Empathetic Part 2

Good Morning and Blessings Everyone!

I promised I would talk to you today about when the doctors thought I had Social Anxiety Disorder. About ten years ago I was going through some pretty touch times. I have always known I was empathetic but I at this time in my life, I wasn't able to get a grip on all that was going on around me. I was surrounded by negativity in my house, my friends, my family, you name it, it was there. Of course I was absorbing it all like a sponge, unable to rinse it out.

I started to want to go back inside myself to hide away within me, where I knew I would not only be safe but I would be able to re-charge myself as well. I would do this by going into a quick deep meditation. I actually would give a warning to my family that I was about to do this by saying, "I am going to go home." I did this so they didn't worry when I didn't respond to them of course that didn't work they worried anyway. Once I made my announcement you were no longer able to get me to respond to you, even though I could hear every word being said. You see I heard what was being said around me and I would answer who ever it was talking to me but only in my mind. The words never escaped my lips. I was in a state in which I felt safe and comfortable. I was in my own zone. Growing up I did this quite often. It is how I balanced myself out. As I got older I realized I didn't need to hide I just needed to come to terms with all that was going on around me.  At this point and time in my life, ten years ago, there was just too much going on around me. I could no longer do this, I couldn't get it back under control, the emotions were ruling the way I thought, felt, and reacted to things around me. I handled this by "going away," as I put it, going deep inside myself to try to balance out. When I came out of it I always felt more relaxed, more able to handle all the garbage being thrown at me.

Unfortunately this feeling of control didn't last long. I started doing things like shaking my legs up and down while I was sitting watching television, a constant nervous jiggle. I couldn't sit still. Then it got to where I would also rock back and forth while jiggling my legs. It was annoying to a lot of people to say the least. But I couldn't stop it if I wanted to. Truthfully I wasn't even aware I was doing it not until someone would come by and put their hand on my shoulder gently alerting me to the fact I was doing that once again. I always felt as if I needed to apologize for being in this state so I would say, "I'm sorry." Actually I felt like I owed them this apology for not being able to handle what was going on around me. I was their mother, the wife, the pillar, I was supposed to be able to handle whatever came my way, to protect them at all costs. I was the buffer, I kept the junk out of the house but I wasn't doing it. My mind wasn't where it needed to be.

Next I started doing something they call pilling. What I did was start rolling my fingers together as if I was rolling a small piece of paper into a ball using the thumb and forefinger. I did this with both hands at the same time while I rocked back and forth jiggling my legs. Talk about multitasking! I would do this for hours on end. Of course it was time to take me to a doctor whether I liked it or not. Of course one look at me and she thought I was headed for a nervous break down. So first order of business, of course, was medication. I have to admit at that time in my life I needed something to bring me down. To help me focus on who I was. Even to help block out all that was being tossed my way. Medication was not a bad idea. So I took the medication prescribed and slowly I came back to being me. Back to being able to figure things out put it all in the right file and figure out what to do next. I did this for a little over a year.

One day I was sitting in my living room just going over things in my mind trying to connect with my guides when I realized I don't have anymore visitors. No matter how hard I tried I wasn't connecting. I missed that. I missed my guides and my visitors in the night. I needed to get them back. I didn't need the negativity but I also didn't need what this medication seemed to be doing to me. For one thing it blocked everything that came my way. I was no longer opened to it but on a medical level it did more than that. Yes it kept me calm, serine, but if I did get upset for any reason the side effect just wasn't worth it. Whenever I got upset I suddenly had seizures. There are now medications I can't take such as muscle relaxers for fear of having a seizure. It was found the medication I was on was causing these seizures. I never had a seizure in my life. So now I am re-evaluating all of this, I can not spiritually hear, or see, my gifts are all blocked from me and a an added special I now have seizures. The outcome was, yes the doctor and medication helped me so I wasn't so stressed out from what was going on in my life but I wasn't me.

I didn't say anything to anyone including my family and I slowing started taking note of what was going on around me and what I felt or didn't feel. Imagine my surprise when I figured out I actually felt nothing. I wasn't upset if someone I loved was sick, I just handled it, went through the motions. I didn't worry if something wasn't going right, I just handled it! I didn't laugh the way I normally did, I just existed. Now I had to figure out what to do. I did my research and found out you couldn't just come off the meds you had to do it right. I slowly started cutting back my medication. I slowly weaned myself off without saying anything to anyone including the doctor. I admit it's not the smartest thing to do so please do not follow in my footsteps. Next I stopped going to counseling because I got tired of hearing how I needed to get out more. How I needed to be around people, people I don't know not just my family and friends. I needed to conquer my Social Anxiety Disorder. The way they said it made me own it. I didn't own it and I knew that. I was told the ball was in my court, no one was doing this, nothing else was doing this to me. It was all my fault. So since this was the way they saw it, I figured it was also my obligation to myself to take control and set me free.

After sitting down and thinking this all through I realized the doctor wasn't far off. This was all caused because of me. Because I was not taking charge and handling the mess that was going on around me. I forgot the basics of going into a crowd, of protecting myself, even from those I knew. I thought hey I got this. I got over confident and I was wrong! Because of this I suffered, even my family did. When I came off the medication slowly coming back to myself, I came back enlightened, a Lesson learned. As for my gifts, they came back to me as if the flood gates had been opened. Stronger than ever, I am not saying the medication made them stronger by no means. I am saying I realized that was what was happening to me before the medication. That was why I had all the confusion, anxiety, and feeling of being overwhelmed. I didn't know how to handle the changes going on around me. I didn't realize I had stepped up my gifts. If I had I would seek out help to help me understand what I was going through. If I had taken the time to zone in, to listen to the messages being sent to me I would have realized the changes I was going through. I would have realized the ball was in my court, I needed to take control.

What I needed to do was talk to them. I needed to tell them if you are going to increase my seeing at this time please do not increase my hearing right now. Give me some time to adjust one gift at a time. If you don't communicate with them then there is no way they can understand what you, as a human, are going through. One step at a time, get used to what I am seeing, then introduce the increase in hearing. Once used to that, perhaps the increase of feeling. Baby steps one at a time. Something along this order. I needed to communicate with my guides. I needed to let them know what would work for me so I didn't become so overwhelmed. These weren't knew gifts I was receiving but an increase in the gifts I already have. My visions were stronger, they were more vivid, the hearing more acute, the feelings stronger more intense.

When I stopped the medication I was on and came out of the funk it had me in I first noticed my feelings coming back stronger than ever. This is when I asked, "Please all my Angels and Saints guide me. Do not let me get lost or bombarded by these new feelings. Help me to appreciate the gifts that I have. Help me to understand what I am going through so I can help others. That's my goal in life to help others. my life purpose." Slowly my feelings came back and they increased to a level I had never been out before. I could sense, I could feel, it felt so good to have that part of me, back. Next I started seeing. Slowly at first. They introduced it to me the way I asked, nice and slow until it got a lot stronger. With the strength came the sound, came the hearing until that grew to an all new high for me. The only thing that stopped all this from happening before was me. I blocked me, I stopped me, no one else did that. I didn't have Social Anxiety Disorder but I allowed myself to be treated for it. For me it wasn't a bad thing because it helped me to realize that was not who I am. I like hearing, I liked seeing, I like feeling what others feel what they need. I like understanding them for who they are. Helping them understand what they feel and what they want, and what their needs may be. That is what I am here for.

I hope that my story opens some eyes and gives you a chance to explore who you are. Don't refuse your medication, take it, I did. Find out how it makes you feel. Sometimes we all need a little bit of help. It doesn't mean it is going to be you for the rest of your life. You may just need some help, I did and I am not ashamed to admit it. I needed to figure out how to balance this all out. Do I still get socially anxious? Yes I do. I definitely feel sometime like I want to run from a room. I feel like I don't want to be there. Parties still freak me out before I go but when I get there I am already protected. I called in my Angels, my Saints, Saint Michael to protect me. When I get in the crowd I put my white circle of protection around me by visualizing it keeping me nice and safe in my own little circle. I know I am going to be OK. I don't have to worry about anything negative touching, about feeling the overwhelming feelings that can sometimes reach out from the crowd and grab hold.

I hope I helped you all some way, some how. If you have any questions at all you can always reach me at me email address michelinascloset@gmail.com or on this blog. Thank you and have a beautiful day.

                                                         Yes, I am Empathetic

                                              Yes, I am Empathetic,
I found that it is genetic,
A gift handed down to me,
                                               From my loving Great Granny,
Oh she took time to explain,
So I understood my growing pain,
Her guidance helped me through some rough spots,
I learned how to clear my stomach of knots,
How to help those in need,
How to listen when they plead,
For my help no matter where they are,
How to shine my light like a star,
So they can follow the glow,
Find someone to talk to, where to go,
And through the years I had to learn,
How to be strong and stern,
Not to let the negativity control,
My emotions and put a toll,
On my life, what my family needs,
I shouldn't have to pay for my good deeds,
I should be smiling and feeling the power,
As I wash all negativity away in the shower,
Holding onto the positive energy this will produce,
Careful hold on tight do not let it loose,
Allow it to set you up right,
                                               To once again shine bright,
So you can be happy and care free,
                                               Like a buzzing bumble bee,
                                               Flying from flower to flower,
Gathering up the energy that will empower,
You to see, smell and feel,
Giving you the power to deal,
                                               With everything tossed your way,
So you can smile all through the day!

Empathetic(Part 1)

Good Morning and Blessings Everyone!

I always talk about my life about my experience. The things I go through and the things I've been through. One thing people do not understand is I am no different than anyone else. I may have found the spiritual meaning in my life but that doesn't mean I didn't go through all the bumps in the road that everyone else has gone through in their life. It's not easy being empathetic as a matter of fact its very confusing for a lot of people. If it's confusing for a person at the age of 25, 35, 40, 50, and up imagine how it feels to a child whose just coming into all their own feelings, trying to understand them.

Young children who have this imaginary friend no wants to believe they have, imagine the frustration these children go through. Think about the young boy or young girl coming of age 17 or 18 years old and they can no longer hide or block these emotions that come through to them. They can no longer say "I don't want this". The more we say we don't want or we try to block the messages that come through to us, the harder it is for us because we are now fighting a battle to find our own individuality. We are fighting so hard not to be consumed by everyone else's emotions. We want our own! We want to be our own person, so we block. We decide we don't want this. This isn't for me, let them handle their own problems. All those friends that come around in a day. They broke up with their boyfriend, they can't find a job, they lost their job, or  their parents don't understand them. Things just aren't the way they need it to be so you lend that empathetic ear or empathetic shoulder to lean on. In doing that, using all that empathy you have for these people, you soak up all that negativity, all that doubt, all that destruction. It is soaked and absorbed into your body. But you're denying it, you are denying the fact you are empathetic. You are denying the fact you have this amazing gift bestowed to you by God.

To feel not just what you feel but what others feel and in denying it you are making yourself sick. Stomach problems you just can't seem to explain, no one can explain it. You can't eat, you can't sleep because most of the time the energy is so built up you can't calm yourself down enough to get some rest. It's causing you to be an insomniac. This will continue until we discover how to clear all that negative energy, all that earth bound energy we take hold of and lay claim to.

Now you go to a doctor explaining your depressed you don't know what's going on. This is bothering me, that's bothering me and the tests begin. So many of us are diagnosed as bipolar because of the emotional swings we go through. One minute happy, next sad, then elated, and before you know it so depressed you want to crawl into a corner, and we cry for no apparent reason. This is in text book terms bipolar! They do not understand in the scientific world we are empaths. We feel what others feel and if you were to go in there and explain this to your doctor they are going to look at this and say it needs to be looked into even further. Not because they believe you but because they now feel you may have social anxiety disorder, or a God like complex because you feel as if you are here to help others. Social anxiety disorder because we don't like to be around other people. We like to be in our own safe zone as much as possible. We like to encompass ourselves with the world we need. Our alters the way we need it set up, our house the way we need it set up to block and keep out all that negative junk the world tosses our way. We surround ourselves with what we need to survive and keep the others out.

We are not mentally unstable we do not belong on medication but that is not to say there are not people out there that do. Now how do you figure that out? How do you figure out am I really bipolar, am I really suffering from some God like complex, or am I suffering from social anxiety disorder. How do you figure that out? We see how things go for us. We sit down and start making a chart of how we feel when we feel.Perfect example on how to do this, you go to the doctor and they put on a heart monitor. Every time something is not right you chart what happened at that point in time on a sheet of paper. Then they know when these episodes take place, dizziness, chest pain etc. It's no different for you. You chart when you feel happy, sad, and what is going on at that point and time it happens to you. When did I feel I wanted to run in the room and cry. What was I doing when I wanted to run out of the store screaming. Was I shopping in the department alone at the time or was there some disturbance, a child screaming, teenager complaining to mom they didn't want to be there. What was going on at that point in time? Now write down on your chart what happened, where you were, what time it happened and your reaction. These are the things you need to write down because maybe you aren't feeling your own anxiety but someone else. Then after a week or maybe just 48 hours of charting this and all or most of your mood swings are centered around these events then you're probably not bipolar. We all have our own emotions, our own ups and downs or we wouldn't be human. The thing is to figure out what is you and what it isn't.

If the medication they have you on is making you feel worse you need to talk to your doctor. The doctor is not going to believe you are not bipolar. They made a scientific decision. This is what is in your mind, they can not take your brain apart while you are alive and say, "oh yeah there it is!" They can't do it! Most mental disorders are diagnosed according to what we tell them we are feeling and what they observe. There have been many of us who are thought to be schizophrenic because of such observations. My father was one of them near the end of his life. The doctors thought the people he was seeing and those he was talking to was paranoid schizophrenia due to dementia, old age, and so on. That's not how it was, in the end my dad was wide opened after all he had gone through. His gifts were no longer able to be blocked and they came to him. He was able to see and understand all I had been going through my entire life and told me so. I think that was the part that made me feel so good. He said to me, "this is how it is?" I was no longer the flake of the family at least not to him. The same thing happened with my sister. She started to realize there was something to all of this in her final days.

It's sad it has to come to their final days for them to see what we see and hear all the time. Being an empath is being a sponge. We soak up everything and we can't always get it rinsed out. Imagine when the soap gets in the sponge and your are rinsing and rinsing but no matter how much you run it under water it still has soap in it, that's how we are. We soak it all up and it's not easy to release. We have to teach ourselves we are as important as anyone else. If we can listen to what bothers everyone else then why can't we listen to what bothers us? How can we give others advice if we don't listen to it ourselves? You shouldn't tell anyone to do something you wouldn't do for yourself! How are you helpful if you are advising someone who is suffering from heartbreak how to shed themselves from all that negativity if we are not willing to do the same ourselves? We need to be able to cleanse ourselves when we leave this person so we are whole again. A simple jester to Saint Micheal to separate  your energy from the person you have just been with. To help you clear all the negativity around you, will help put you back on the right track. Simply make a scissor cutting motion with your forefinger and middle finger on both hands circling around your head and ask Saint Michael as you do so, to release you from so and so's energy. Ask Saint Michael to stand by you protecting you from all negative energy you may have picked you. You can call on Saint Michael anytime of the day or night to help you, to protect you from anything that may have been tossed your way. He will always be there to fight our battles, always willing to come in and help. "Please Saint Michael release me from this negativity. Help me to fulfill my life's path in a positive way. Thank you Saint Michael." That's it Stand by my side Saint Michael!

I don't know any other way to explain this. Before you reach for pills, before you decide the doctor is always right and you are on medication that zonks you, will not make you feel, see, hear, unless that is what you want, then try charting your moods. The medication that they give us blocks the gifts that God has bestowed. That is what they are supposed to do.They are there to block what you see, what you hear, what you feel and if that is what you want then so be it. Don't go any further than taking the medication, If that is not what you want and you want to experience the gifts God has given you, that have been bestowed on you, then take the time 48 hours to be out there. I am not saying sit in your nice safe house and chart what is going on. Be around people, go to a party, work, school. Be around a lot people. Pick a busy weekend and chart 48 hours of you emotions. See what makes them tick, what triggers it. See what makes you feel better. Write that down, "I entered my home and immediately I felt the warmth and the love engulf me and all that negativity that was gathered up through the course of the day disappeared." That's how I feel when I enter my home, my safe zone.

Well I'm preaching to the choir here and I don't want to be a preacher. I want to help, it's what I do! I'm going to close this right now and the next blog I write will be about some of the feelings I went through when I was diagnosed with social anxiety disorder. I want to help open up peoples eyes. I took their medication, I did what they wanted me to do, then I realized this wasn't me. They are taking "me" away by blocking what God gave me. Maybe by me sharing this with you some empaths out there will realize they aren't losing it, they are gaining!

Blessings Everyone! Have a beautiful day!

                                                         An Empaths Path

They look at me as if I am strange.
All the emotions around me change,
The smile on my face to a frown,
First I'm up then I'm down,
I don't want to be this way,
                                                    I fight hard to stay,
Happy and balanced as I go,
Walking through life nice and slow,
Helping those who reach out to me,
Learn to be balanced and care free,
To accept the gifts they have been bestowed,
Helping them walk a smoother road,
They need to know they are not alone,
                                                     In this empathetic zone,
There are many here to help them grow,
To share the knowledge they should know,
To help them accept this path they take,
So a new empath will awake,
And they will join us in our quest,
To make it known our gifts are blessed,
So do not fear what you do not know,
We are not here to put on a show,
Some of us my hear, others may see,
Some just feel what needs to be,
Each of our gifts are different yet the same,
No reason to hang our heads in shame,
No way to hide who we are,
The light above us lights our star,
Shinning bright so all will know,
How to find me, where to go,
So if they have a need to be,
Talking or sitting close besides me,
When they feel my touch hear me speak,
No longer will they feel weak,
As positive energies begin to flow,
So they can once again go,
Walk with happiness in their heart,
Know they have a brand new start!

In My Travels

Good Evening and Blessings Everyone!

In my travels along this path I have chosen I have been blessed with meeting some of the most gifted amazing people on Earth. Most of these amazingly gifted individuals are not aware of their gifts as yet or if they are they do not know the extent of them or how to help them mature. How to nurture and develop these gifts isn't something that just comes to you in a dream. It has taken me years of study reading and re-reading gathering knowledge everyday of my life. Not all knowledge comes from opening a book however! We can get knowledge from listening, observing, discussing, and doing. In other words life experience.

In 2005 I started a business from the crafts I made at the time. I love working with my hands creating something beautiful, something others could use and enjoy. Often I gave my work away as gifts then one day someone suggested I should start this business to help make room for new crafts I was working on, so I did. The crafts went over nicely but I knew I needed more. One night when I was meditating on what to do next, I got the message "do what you know" so I did. Little by little I added essential oils, incense  herbs. candles, statues  even spells. I didn't have a store front I was doing street fairs and flea markets and I was loving it! Not for the money made because in the spiritual business done from your heart and not your checkbook you will never be rich in dollars and cents. You will, however, be rich in the souls you touch.

When I was doing the flea markets people would come up to our table not just because of the merchandise but because they were guided to us. There were other stands selling similar merchandise but they often told me they past us by but then something made them come back. Sometimes they made a purchase sometimes we chatted for hours and the time flew by feeling like only seconds. I considered these people not only my friends, my blessings, but my life lessons. Every person who came to my table with a sadness about them, a smile, a question, a thought to share, or a desire to learn taught me as well.

I remember one year 2006 I was set up at the Saint Anthony's street fair. We were set up across from a sand art stand. People were coming up to us talking about readings they had and other experiences.I was amazed by how many walked up to me and said Blessed Be Sister! Amazed for two reasons I was at a catholic street fair and two I was not advertising I am a Witch for fear I would terrify the congregation. This particular festival the woman from the sand art stand, Angela, got curious about us. She came over to check out why we were so busy with customers young and old. After all we weren't selling anything all that amazing. She introduced herself to my partner who explained the business we had. She was curious
about the customers who seemed to stand around talking to us for hours. If we took that much time with one customer how could we make money. He went on to explain how people seemed to seek me out to talk to, learn from, and share their knowledge.

She was interested and stunned to learn I was a real live witch! So much so she kept introducing me to people as her new witch friend assuring them I really was a witch she wasn't calling me names. Angela brightened my day because she taught me a couple of lessons.  She taught me to be proud of who and what I am. It may not be necessary to wear a badge stating I am a witch but I should hold my head high no matter where I am and show my pride because it is that pride I gather up positive energy that brightens my lite and calls those in need to  seek me out as well as the angels that walk this Earth.

So to Angela I thank you for a lesson well taught and learned with love.

                                                                    Enjoy Life

We all need to stop and think,
Life passes us by in a blink,
So much to do so much to see,
Of this we can all agree,
Take the time to go for a walk,
To listen to a child learning talk,
To watch them as they learn,
                                                             The knowledge that they yearn,
Take the time and enjoy the rain,
                                                             Tapping against the window pane,
Listen to the sounds of spring,
Enjoy the beauty that it will bring,
Sit outside, soak up the sun,
Go for a walk, maybe a run,
While you are out enjoying the day,
Smell the flowers along the way,
Colors of pink, blue, and green,
                                                             Paint natures scene,
All this beauty made for us,
Open your eyes and make a fuss,
Take the time to meet a friend or two,
Get to know them what they do,
Soak up the knowledge they will share,
Thank them for showing they care,
Be proud and hold your head high,
Turn your attention to the sky,
Throw a kiss to God and say,
Thank you for making the world this way.
